Shanghai Textile Machinery and Accessories Association(STMA) was founded in August, 1994. STMA is mainly constituted by subsidiary companies of Shanghai Mechatronic (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Textile Holding (Group) Corperation, also absorbing competitive companies from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. For over ten year, STMA has been enlarged with 80 member companies, among which 57 are local ones,14 from Jiangsu, 2 from Zhejiang and 7 from Anhui. STMA was voluntarily founded as a sociogroup of multi-province, multi-department and multi-ownership-pattern. Mr. Huang Guancong, Vice Chairman of Shanghai CPPCC(the Chinese People Political Consultative Conference), is Honorary President of STMA. The total assets of member companies is about 5 billion RMB, and total annually sale amount is about 3 billion RMB.
